Early October, the service contract for the air conditioning installations of the launch complexes at the Guiana Space Center has been extended for three more years.
This maintenance concerns the launch complexes of the three launchers that are being launched from the site in Kourou, namely Ariane 5, Soyuz and Vega (respectively for large, medium and small satellites).
This extension of three years ensures that the Cofely Axima teams will continue to work in French Guiana until the end of 2019 and that we can continue our adventure in space, which has been in progress for almost 20 years now.
The negotiation of these new contracts are part of a competitiveness plan that Arianespace has negotiated with all industrial operators on the base. Aim is to improve the competitiveness of the European launch complexes.
